Fishing Patagonia is a company located on the beautiful city of Puerto Natales, Chile, situated in the heart of the incomparable landscapes of the Patagonia and formed by people and fishing guides born in the region. We are known for the excellent attention to the client, experience and knowledge of the best fishing places of the zone. Our objective as company is to offer the best quality in our programs, designed to satisfy the requirements of all the people who love this kind of places, and the fishing of trouts and salmons. We offer to the visitor all the necessary equipment and comfort, we also offer the best human staff to go with you and we don't forget the protection of the species and the environment.

HISTORY

The trouts are a kind of fish introduced in Chile at the end of XIX century in the North of the country and in the past decades these species were brought to the Patagonia by colonos and the "Sociedad Explotadora de Tierra del Fuego" from Europe, this was an important company in our zone, that belonged to English families and which was the center of our economic activity.

These trouts adapt and spread in our rivers and lakes very well, this reason makes this a place of dream for the sport fishermen, specially in the Rio Serrano in the Torres del Paine National Park, being recognized in those years by the experts like one of the 5 best ones in the world. As a example in 1961 a trout of more than 12 kilos was captured in Figueroa Lagoon, it was declared officially a record in Chile.

In the 80's the increasing of the salmon aquiculture in the zone began, with species like shinook that nowadays make available the capture the biggest fish of South America in places like the Rio Serrano and the sector of Puerto Prat, they usually exceed 20 kg . this is why we have the opportunity of choosing between several places to fish the coveted trouts arcoiris, brown or fario and salmon, maintaining needed cares to conserve this treasure.
